Ubisoft teases Rainbow Six Siege ‘Around The World’ Battle Pass
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has received the Operation Void Edge update on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, marking the start of Year 5 content plans. The latest seasonal refresh couples with new playable personas Oryx and Iana, each bringing new abilities to attack and defense, alongside the rustic rework for the Oregon map. Ubisoft has accompanied its release with a brief one-minute trailer, confirming the second full-fledged Battle Pass on track for the weeks ahead.
The next Rainbow Six Battle Pass is titled “Around The World,” exploring the diverse heritage of select Operators, tied into the returning 35-tier progression system available in-game. As with the inaugural “Road to S.I. 2020” Battle Pass, Around The World will feature 50 themed cosmetics, obtained by earning points and completing challenges to level up through the ranks. The Free and Premium tiers also return, splitting content across a broadly available track, or a $10 entry fee.
Looking at the future of Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege Battle Pass
The Around The World Battle Pass will be free to all players and costing 1,200 R6 Credits to upgrade to the Premium track. Year 5 Pass owners will also obtain a 40 percent discount on the purchase, cutting the investment down to just 720 R6 Credits.
In the meantime, Rainbow Six Siege Operation Void Edge is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. However, for access to new Operators Oryx and Iana today, you’ll need the new Year 5 Pass.
