Two Point Hospital trailer tells you how the game was rebuilt for consoles

Many months ago, Sega and Two Point Studios released a hilarious Theme Hospital successor called Two Point Hospital. The announcement trailer was quirky and featured a fictitious disease known as Light-Headedness. Since its launch, the game has garnered stellar reviews on PC, but console gamers were left out. Luckily, the title was confirmed for Xbox One, too.

If you want to know more about the console port, be sure to check out the newly-released developer diary.

In less than a month, Two Point Hospital launches on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One and we very super excited to finally bring this great game to console players. Have a look at the latest video where Two Point Studios’ top surgeons give you an inside look at how the game has been rebuilt for consoles.

We can’t wait to play Two Point Hospital next month. Are you going to pick it up? Let us know.

That’s where the good news ends. Today, Windows Central received a press release from Sega saying that “console players will have to wait just a little while longer for it, as the release window for Two Point Hospital moves to the first half of 2020.” This is unfortunate news, but in order to perfect the console port, the team needs more time.

Mark Webley, Game Director at Two Point Studios, said the following.

Our community have asked for Two Point Hospital on consoles for a while now and we want to make sure we deliver a game that can be enjoyed to the fullest on all platforms. This means we will need a little bit more time to optimize the game to ensure the best possible experience across all platforms.

Let’s hope that Two Point Hospital on Xbox One is a polished experience and works well with a controller. We’ll have to wait a little longer to find out. As soon as a concrete release date is announced, we’ll provide an update.
