Top 10 trending phones of week 16

It was an exciting week 16 for mobile fans as Apple and OnePlus officially unveiled new phones and it’s hardly a surprise that those are among the leaders in our top 10.

In fact the iPhone SE (2020) was already on top last week so it was expected that it will retain the lead in its launch week.

OnePlus 8 Pro is also having is second week in the top 10 in its first week of officialdom, taking second, while the vanilla OnePlus 8 got fourth.

In fourth we have the original Apple iPhone SE as people would innevatibaly compare specs between that one and its 2020 edition. Truth be told the SE (2020) is mostly iPhone 8 and has little to do with its namesake, but who are we to judge Apple’s naming.

Redmi Note 8 Pro is fifth, ahead of the Redmi Note, which got people talking from the moment it entered the rumor mill.

Samsung Galaxy A51 claimed seventh, ahead of yet another Apple smartphone – the iPhone 7. The last time we had three phones from the Cupertino company in the top 10 the company had just unveiled the 11 series.

Another rumored phone takes ninth – the Oppo A92s, while the final spot goes to the Redmi Note 8.

So we wave goodbye to the Huawei P40 Pro duo as well as the Redmi Note 9S and Samsung’s Galaxy A71 and Galaxy S20 Ultra. Somewhat surprisingly, none of Honor’s newly unveiled 30 series made the top 10, but we are yet to see if it is because they only launched in China so far or because people stopped caring.
