The SteelSeries Apex 3 TenKeyLess keyboard can withstand a splash

SteelSeries announced the Apex 3 TenKeyLess (TKL) keyboard today. According to SteelSeries, it is the first-ever water-resistant tenkeyless gaming keyboard. The Apex 3 TKL keyboard provides IP32 water and dust resistance to protect itself against spills. It’s a wired keyboard, so you’ll have to make sure your PC has a free USB port.

Some of the best gaming keyboards are tenkeyless, meaning that the devices do not have a full number pad. SteelSeries states that this is the most popular keyboard form factor among esports professionals. By not having a number pad on the side of the keyboard, tenkeyless setups have a slimmer silhouette than full keyboards.

The Apex 3 TKL has “whisper quiet” switches that are built to last over 20 million keypresses, according to SteelSeries. The keyboard also features Brilliant PrismSync Lighting with support for eight zones and 16.8 million colors. You can sync the colors of the keyboard to other SteelSeries products.
