The new vivo V17 appears in hands-on video

The vivo V17 was announced last month in Russia, but now a new phone with the same moniker is onto the Indian market. The phone was teased with L-shaped main camera setup and a punch-hole design for the front-facing snapper, and today a hands-on video confirmed the renders.

According to the source, this device will have Snapdragon 675 chipset, coupled with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The four shooters on the back will come in this combo – 48 MP main + 8 MP wide-angle + 2 MP depth sensor + 2 MP macro, while the selfie is said to have a 32 MP sensor.

Along with the video, we also saw some camera samples with questionable aesthetics – apparently the leakster wanted to snap the shots and be done with it. Sadly, the images are compressed for web usage and we don’t have any detailed info about aperture, ISO or any other information that might give away the snappers.

The vivo V17 has no visible fingerprint scanner, meaning either the Chinese manufacturer decided to go with a punctured OLED panel or might scrap the sensor at all. The phone is expected to have 4,500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging over the USB-C, while price is rumored to be INR22,990 ($320/€300).
