The Honor 50 is coming to Europe soon, with Google Play Services
Honor is making a comeback – this was the goal behind it splitting off from the Huawei mother ship. The new Honor 50 is preparing to launch in Europe, which will happen a month from now, according to WinFuture.
The phone is definitely coming, you can see the 6/128 GB and 8/256 GB versions listed on hihonor.com in Germany and we found it on the Italian and French sub-sites too (also in the UK, though with less details available). The laptop will be available in four colorways, including the limited edition Honor Code.

The timing of the launch, however, has not been made official yet. According to rumors, the Honor 50 will be unveiled at an event in Berlin on October 26 and the phone should be available the following day.
By the looks of it, the Honor 50 Pro will not be coming to the Old Continent. The main difference between the two is the screen (6.57” on the vanilla, 6.72” on the Pro) and charging speed (66W vs. 100W). The Pro also has a secondary ultra wide camera on the front, so it has a pill-shaped punch hole, making the two models easier to tell apart. Pricing is also unknown at the moment.
The phone will run Android 11 (with a custom UI similar to EMUI) and will have full access to the Google Play Store and other Play services. A quick summary of its specs includes a 6.57” 120Hz OLED display (1080p+), a Snapdragon 778G chipset, 108MP main and 8MP ultrawide cameras on the back, 32MP camera on the front and a 4,300mAh battery with 66W wired charging.
