The entire Galaxy S22 series boasts some impressive camera chops, but when you look at the specs, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has the clear lead. With an additional zoom camera, a 108MP main camera, an ultra-wide camera that boasts autofocus tech, and a 40MP selfie camera, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has one of the best on-paper camera setups of any phone, Samsung or otherwise.
But how much of a difference is there in the real world? Let’s just suffice it to say that the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+’s photos can surprisingly be as good as those taken by the Galaxy S22 Ultra in many situations. Numbers aren’t everything, after all, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s main advantage is that it gives you proper optical zoom at 10x and beyond, something the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ just can’t match… except when they can?
