It’s been a second since the last Minecraft beta, but the Nether Update is far from finished as far as Mojang Studios is concerned. A new beta, 188.8.131.52, is rolling out to beta testers right now with the usual injection of bug fixes and improvements, including fixes for crashes, stability, and multiplayer issues. However, this beta does include one notable change that isn’t a bug fix.
The Achievements screen in-game, that lets players keep track of the Achievements they’ve earned, is getting a fresh new design that should make it easier for players to monitor their progress and find specific Achievements. On top of that, Mojang Studios is A/B testing (i.e., it’s a gradual rollout after the beta) that adds a new Achievements detail screen, which should be a big help for Achievements hunters that need all the information they can get their hands on.
If you’re interested, you can check out the full changelog here, or you can read how to join the Minecraft: Bedrock Edition beta here. Finally, Mojang Studios is looking for feedback on the new Achievements screen, so make sure to drop your impressions here to help them out.
