Teaser reveals nubia Z50 dedign, MyOS 13 features

The Red Magic 8 Pro is arriving today, and while waiting for the event to begin, nubia shed some light on its upcoming regular flagship and new UI.

The brand posted teasers of the nubia Z50, revealing a triple camera with a ring flash at the back. It also revealed that the new MyOS 13 will have practically zero bloatware, compared with two other major UI by competitors.

The nubia Z50 will arrive with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which would help the phone to achieve over 1,300,000 points on AnTuTu. There will also be a dedicated AI power chip that should improve and further protect the battery life through smart power management.

We already know the camera will have a 35mm equivalent focal length, and ZTE’s brand will also introduce new Beauty mode that will keep the skin color and make details keep their natural appearance. The phone’s cooling will be a ten-layer solution with 36,462 sq.mm total area – a relatively huge number compared to other smartphones.

The December 19 event will also be the landing pad for the MyOS 13, expected to come pre-installed on the nubia Z50. It will bring quicker animations and performance, with nubia promising an increase of 30% in the smoothness of the interface.

We expect to learn the price of the nubia Z50 during Monday’s event and whether it is the only Z series phone or has a Pro sibling.
