Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris goes up for preorder on Xbox One

Sword Art Online is an incredibly popular Japanese anime series about a group of people stuck in a virtual reality game. While the first game from Bandai Namco was good, it looks like Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris takes it further. I’ve always loved the fantasy setting of Sword Art Online more than the gun arenas, and it looks like Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris gives us just that.

Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris should launch on May 22, starting at $60 on Xbox One. It’s unclear if the game is Xbox One X Enhanced, but we should know once the final build goes live on the Microsoft Store.

Set in Underworld, an expansive world introduced in the Sword Art Online anime, Kirito sets out on an adventure in the series’ latest role-playing game! Enjoy seamless, action-packed real-time battles using a combination of sword skills, sacred arts, and your favorite Sword Art Online characters!
