Surface Headphones 2, Surface Earbuds preorders now available at Best Buy

Following up on Surface Book 3 and Surface Go 2 going up for preorder at Best Buy, Microsoft’s Surface Headphones 2 and Surface Earbuds are also now up for grabs at the big box retailer. Surface Headphones 2 cost $250, while Surface Earbuds are available for $200.

Both Surface Earbuds and Surface Headphones 2 features integrations with Office apps that let you do things like control PowerPoint slides and listen to your latest emails from Outlook on demand. Surface Earbuds feature omnisonic speakers that should deliver high audio quality, and they’ve been tuned to work well in office environments. The large touch sensors on each bud allow you to quickly change volume, skip tracks, and call up your digital assistant as well.

Surface Headphones 2 largely keep the same design and feel of the original Surface Headphones, but with some notable tweaks. There’s a new matte black color option, which joins the gray color found on the original. Microsoft has also added Bluetooth 5.0, aptX support, and the earcups can now be rotated 180 degrees for a more comfortable experience when they’re resting around your neck.

Surface Earbuds and Surface Headphones 2 are both expected to start shipping and arrive in stores starting May 12. For now, you can preorder each from both Best Buy and the Microsoft Store.
