Surface Go 2 gets first firmware updates since release

Microsoft’s new Surface Go 2 only just went on sale today, but it’s already getting its first firmware updates. These day-one updates aren’t large in number, but they hone in on improving both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Here’s a look at what’s new, according to Microsoft’s Surface Update History:

• Intel – net – 21.80.2.1: Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz – Network Adapters – improve connection reliability.
• Intel Corporation –Bluetooth – 21.80.0.3: Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth – Bluetooth – improve connection reliability.

Surface Go 2 is the first big update to Microsoft’s tiniest available Surface. It brings a slightly larger display in the same size body as the original Surface go. It also adds new chips to the mix, including an impressive option for a version with Intel’s Core m3 processor.
