Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order gets spectacular launch trailer

Recently, Respawn Entertainment — the developer behind Apex Legends and Titanfall — revealed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Contrary to rumors, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a story-driven third-person action game that Respawn has been working on for many years now. There is no multiplayer mode or microtransactions in the game. Luckily, it’s launching on November 15 appears to be running at 60 frames per second on Xbox One X.

The combat is similar to games like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, but doesn’t look as punishing. You have a variety of abilities at your disposal so you can quickly dispatch lesser foes. For example, you can trigger air assassinations and much more. However, your progress will come to a halt when you encounter bosses like giant spiders and Purge Troopers.

The launch trailer focuses on the story and gives us a taste of the gameplay. According to early previews, it’s not a completely linear experience because as you gain new abilities, you can access previously-inaccessible regions. However, it’s unclear how much of the game requires backtracking and the like.
