STALKER 2 devs post five-minute video of the game’s knife spinning around
The developers of STALKER 2, GSC Game World, have posted a five-minute video comically titled “Cut(ting) content” in which the knife players will be able to use in STALKER 2 spins around for five minutes in a showcase. This video follows a developer diary GSC Game World released at the March ID@Xbox showcase that showed off the game’s outfits, weapons, and a custom teeth tool. You can watch the video below.
Based on the video’s hilariously long run-time and the humorous title, it seems like this is meant to be a silly April Fool’s joke. I’ll admit, I’m normally not a fan of anything to do with April Fool’s, but this one got a laugh out of me. It’s also cool that the developers at least showed off something real from their upcoming Xbox and PC exclusive, too, and not just something made specifically for this little joke.
STALKER 2 is coming to PC as well as Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Additionally, it will be available through Xbox Game Pass, which is fantastic. It’s expected to launch at some point in 2021, and will likely be in the $40-60 range in terms of price.
