Sony Xperia 10 II Europe pricing now official; Xperia L4 released

Sony has officially released European pricing for its Xperia 10 II (Mark 2) super mid-ranger. In the UK, the official product page has been updated to highlight a price point of £319. Sony also confirmed that the device will cost €369 in mainland Europe. While we don’t have a firm launch date in Europe, the handset is expected to be released in the coming weeks.

The Xperia 10 II improves on last year’s version by offering an OLED display, IP65/68 water resistance and a triple camera array. It has a 6-inch 21:9 OLED display with FHD resolution (1080 x 2520) and Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage with microSD memory card support. Other features include a 3600mAh battery and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Sony’s budget Xperia L4 is available to order in Europe right now at a cost of £169 in UK and €199 in mainland Europe. We have not seen the Xperia L4 widely available – in the UK, for example, the handset is available on contract through EE, O2 and Vodafone. The only retailers offering the handset on a SIM free basis are Carphone Warehouse and Clove, although they only have the Black version at present (you’ll have to wait longer for the Blue version). The Xperia L4 has similar patchy availability across parts of Europe.

What we’re really waiting for is the official pricing for the Xperia 1 II – as soon as we have more details we’ll be ready to share them straight away.

Thanks Deadoson and Jamie!
