Scorn brings nightmarish first-person horror to Xbox Series X

Ebb Software has debuted its new first-person horror adventure game, Scorn, showcased among the first wave of Xbox Series X titles at Microsoft’s first gameplay showcase. Unveiled via a chilling atmospheric trailer, the trailer offers a grim, gore-heavy tone — a glimpse of the overall setting for the project.

Scorn has been in development for over a decade, with a recent delay seeing the game land among early Xbox Series X titles. The studio stresses an emphasis on the environment as an integral “character” to the experience, with each location featuring distinct stories and puzzles, shaping an identity throughout.
