SAVE 20% on the MayFlash Magic to use Xbox controllers on a Nintendo Switch

The Xbox controllers are currently on sale for Cyber Monday, saving you a tidy $20. What if you could also use those controllers on a Nintendo Switch, and avoid having to pay for Nintendo’s “premium” controller on top of the console itself? Well, using this MayFlash Magic USB dongle, you can. And yes, they work with the Xbox Series S and X controllers too.

I have a MayFlash Magic myself, and I use it on my Nintendo Switch because my Nintendo Switch Pro controller succumbed to the dreaded stick drift problem.

Set up is pretty easy. You plug it in, and use the button selector to swap inputs as appropriate for your controller. It works with previous-gen Xbox controllers, as well as the shiny new Xbox Series X and S controllers. MayFlash says it even works with PlayStation 5 controllers, alongside the PS4.

The full list of supported controllers includes; PS5, PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch Pro, Nintendo Switch Joy-Con, Wii-U Pro, Xbox One S Bluetooth controllers. You can also use wired PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch Pro, Xbox One, One S, Xbox 360 controllers, d-input Flight Sticks, all standard d-input wired USB controllers, and more.

Every supported controller can be used with a Nintendo Switch using the USB port on the dock. You can also plug it into a PS3, NEOGEO Mini, PlayStation Classic, or PC. The fact it works with PC is potentially useful for PC towers that don’t have Bluetooth connections for the Xbox controllers, too.

This is a great product that hasn’t let me down, and well-worth owning if you’re a Nintendo Switch owner that already has Xbox or PlayStation controllers available.
