Samsung’s PlayGalaxy Link app goes into beta, lets you stream PC games to your Galaxy Note10
A beta version of Samsung’s PlayGalaxy Link app has launched – it’s currently available in the US and South Korea running on the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+. More countries and Samsung devices (including tablets) will be supported soon.
PlayGalaxy can stream a game running on your PC to your phone, so you can play locally (over Wi-Fi) or while on the go (4G works, but 5G’s lower latency will be better here). This is essentially Samsung’s version of Nvidia GameStream and Steam Link.
On the mobile side, you’ll need some controllers – Bluetooth gamepads as well as old school setups with keyboard and mouse are supported. In dire situations, you can fall back on on-screen controls, but those are less than perfect for desktop games.
You can use an Xbox controller wirelessly (similarly to how the Sony Xperia 5 can connect to a DualShock 4). Samsung also recommends checking out the glap controllers which are designed to fit Galaxy phones.

On the PC side you’ll need a Windows 10 machine with a minimum of Nvidia GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon 550, Intel Core i5, 8GB of RAM and a gigabit router. The app you install on the PC will automatically create a list of all installed games (you can add games manually if the app misses anything).
