Samsung updates Galaxy A25 with October 2024 security patch
Samsung has released a new software update to the Galaxy A25. It brings the October 2024 security patch to the smartphone, which fixes 42 security issues.
At the moment, the South Korean tech giant is rolling out the update to the variant of the smartphone that it sells in Europe, which has the model number SM-A256B. The update is already live in France, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
The new firmware has version A256BXXS6BXJ1. To get the update, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also get it from our database.

Samsung is developing Android 15-based One UI 7.0, and the Galaxy A25 is eligible to get it. However, it being an affordable smartphone, Samsung will roll out the new software update to the device after offering it to the high-end and mid-range devices.
