Samsung to host a fancy Galaxy S22 Ultra unboxing event in India
Samsung officially launched the Galaxy S22 series on February 9, 2022. While users in the west have already got their hands on the Galaxy S22 series phones, users in India are still waiting their turn. This is pretty weird considering the fact that India is one of the biggest markets for Samsung phones and it recently broke all records for Galaxy S22 series pre-bookings.
Sales for the Galaxy S22 series will begin on March 11, 2022, in India. However, Samsung has announced something exciting for fans in the country, especially those who are eagerly waiting for their Galaxy S22 Ultra phones. As per an official newsroom post, Samsung will be hosting one of the biggest unboxing events for the Galaxy S22 Ultra in India.
This unboxing ‘megaevent’ will take place on March 5, 2022, across 17 cities with over 1,000 customers. Although Samsung did not specifically mention the names of the cities where the event will take place, we assume that Tier-A cities will be a part of it.
Customers will receive limited-edition Galaxy S22 Ultra box specially created for this event
Notably, this event is only for customers who have already pre-booked the Galaxy S22 Ultra. This event aims to provide some select customers access to the Galaxy S22 Ultra a few days ahead of its market launch.
One of the most intriguing aspects of this #EpicUnboxing event is that Samsung will provide customers with a limited-edition box of the Galaxy S22 Ultra that has been specially designed for this event. Not only will the box be special, but the in-box content as well. Reportedly, this limited edition box will include the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Buds 2 free of charge, along with the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Regular customers who have pre-booked their Galaxy S22 Ultra are eligible to receive only the Galaxy Watch 4 by paying an extra INR 2,999. Moreover, along with the extra freebies, to continue with its efforts for a sustainable future, Samsung will include a special thank you note written on seed paper. This seed paper can be planted by the customer wherever they like.
