Samsung Smart Monitor M8 pre-registration window is now open in the UK

Samsung UK has opened the pre-registration window for the new Smart Monitor M8. The company is offering early adopters an opportunity to claim £30 off the retail price; however, it has yet to reveal the exact pricing details for the Smart Monitor M8 in the UK.

Samsung unveiled this monitor-TV hybrid earlier this year at CES 2022. Global pre-orders went live late last month, and the Smart Monitor M8 should soon go live in the UK.

How soon? We’re not sure yet, but prospective buyers can show their interest by pre-registering on Samsung UK’s dedicated page. Doing so can earn them a £30 discount off the full price — whatever it may be. In the USA, the monitor hit pre-orders for $700.

A monitor with built-in smart TV capabilities

A monitor-smart TV hybrid is the easiest way to define the Smart Monitor M8 from Samsung. As the name reveals, it’s a monitor, but hidden inside its colorful chassis is internal hardware capable of smart TV functionalities.

The Smart Monitor M8 offers OTT services such as Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV. These services are built-in and work without connecting the monitor to a PC or a TV box. It’s all incorporated, and the M8 is accompanied by a remote.

Moreover, the Smart Monitor M8 is equipped with a high-sensitivity Far-Field Voice microphone that works with voice assistants, including Amazon Alexa and Bixby.
