Samsung shares Galaxy S23 Ultra’s camera prowess on a giant billboard in London

Smartphones these days aren’t just about calling and messaging but also the quality of the cameras they feature. In fact, it is the photo and video-taking capabilities that differentiate modern-day smartphones. Samsung has arguably the best and most flexible camera smartphone right now in the form of the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra packs one of the world’s highest-resolution image sensors (200MP). Although the phone has already proven its camera capabilities in different camera comparisons, Samsung has taken a step ahead. To prove its true power, the company took to the streets of London to display the images captured with the 200MP image sensor on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Photos captured using Galaxy S23 Ultra were displayed on a billboard that spans 700 inches in height

Samsung displayed the images captured using the Galaxy S23 Ultra in brilliant resolution on one of Europe’s biggest billboards in London’s Piccadilly. Samsung placed an old photobooth with the Galaxy S23 Ultra to capture the epic moments and shared the images on London’s enormous Piccadilly Circus billboard, the height of which reaches nearly 700 inches. Furthermore, the images were then zoomed in about 8.5x to show that the photo quality and every pixel remains true to life even when dramatically zoomed in.

Content creators from diverse communities across the UK participated in this event, along with public and contest winners. Each of them had their photos taken at the photo booth and then displayed on the billboard. The photo booth was attended by more than 200 visitors over the weekend, and over 800 photos were captured. Images of content creators from the USA, India, China, and Germany were displayed on the billboard.

Samsung also held a photo competition for Galaxy S23 Ultra users in the USA and the UK to drive further buzz around its flagship phone. The images from the event are available to be viewed on Samsung’s official Instagram and TikTok accounts.
