Samsung Pay to offer additional benefits to Korean users during special events

In an official newsroom post, Samsung announced that it will hold special affiliate marketing events in South Korea. These marketing events will be for Samsung Pay, and they will focus on expanding the user experience with various brands. The aim of this event is to make users comfortable using Samsung Pay quickly and easily with various brands in everyday life.

Moreover, users using Samsung Pay with different brands will get greater benefits, thanks to the collaboration with these brands. To mark the beginning of this event, Samsung will first hold the ‘Samsung Pay X CU Big Event’ across CU convenience stores until June 30th. Samsung Pay customers can earn benefits such as a CU mobile gift certificate, a Galaxy Store discount coupon of KRW 5,000, the Galaxy Z Flip 4, the Galaxy Watch 5 40mm, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, and more at CU stores.

High school and university students who sign up for the ‘Galaxy Campus Store’ by June 30 will get CU mobile coupons of KRW 10,000 (roughly $7.60) and KRW 5,000 (approx. $3.8). Samsung will also hold special events in May 2023 to promote Samsung Pay. Samsung will be conducting a special event in collaboration with the T-money transportation card and the Cashbee transportation card that can be used in Samsung Pay.

100 lucky customers will be given prizes such as KRW 50,000 Hyundai mobile gift certificates. They need to pay more than KRW 10,000 at convenience stores through T-money transportation cards during the month of May 2023 to be eligible for the lottery. Similar prizes are to be won if customers register for the Cashbee mobile transportation card. There are great offers with T’way Air as well. High school students using Hana Card Student ID can win KRW 5,000 in cashback when they make their first payment using the card.
