Samsung is teasing a new Exynos launch, could happen tomorrow

Samsung has sent out a teaser for a new Exynos launch and there’s a reason to believe that it could take place tomorrow. The teaser was posted on Twitter through the official account for Samsung Exynos. The teaser itself doesn’t provide many details of exactly what it is that the company is going to announce. It’s still far too early for a new flagship chipset that would power the Galaxy S11, for example, but there are some theories.New Samsung Exynos announcement expected tomorrowWe heard back in August that Samsung had begun testing the Exynos 9630 mid-range chipset. It’s the one that’s likely going to power the 2020 Galaxy A series. No tech specs of this chipset are available right now. With regards to GPU, there has been quite a lot of anticipation to see what comes of the recent partnership between Samsung and AMD. It was announced earlier this year that Samsung will be bringing AMD’s graphics technology to its smartphones. The strategic partnership covers ultra low power, high performance graphics technologies. However, some reports suggest that the first Samsung chipset with an AMD GPU may not arrive until 2021.The teaser also mentions “mobile intelligence” so it’s possible that this might have something to do with artificial intelligence. The company does have a Samsung Tech Day 2019 event scheduled for tomorrow where the keynote will be from its semiconductor division. The agenda mentions sessions for 5G, GPU and artificial intelligence. So it’s quite possible that whatever is being teased here is going to be unveiled tomorrow at Samsung Tech Day 2019. The event is taking place in San Jose, California with the keynote being scheduled for 10 AM PT.The next #Exynos is coming. The mobile intelligence will take another leap forward. #NextGenPower pic.twitter.com/giCF0wPH8C— Samsung Exynos (@SamsungExynos) October 22, 2019
