According to Samsung Gulf Electronics, AI “will impact every sector of our society. This evolution is driving unprecedented demand for AI skills in countries such as the UAE, where digital transformation is accelerating.” The company congratulated the final 108 candidates, who will be attending a 3-month virtual course designed to give participants a strong understanding of AI fundamentals and related applications.

The courses are designed for STEAM students (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) to expand their understanding and applicable skills in the fields of AI and ML (machine learning). The students will be mentored by AI experts Christophe Zoghbi and Mrad Sleiman. Trainees will have their knowledge and progress tested through tasks and quizzes.

After the three-month period, students will be able to understand the mathematical and statistical foundation of machine learning, understand Python and the libraries used for ML algorithms, and apply these teachings to real data sets and build projects.
