Samsung has already unveiled the Galaxy M23 and M33 5G without fanfare

The Galaxy M23 5G and M33 5G have entered into the final stretch. Although these two budget phones are not yet available for purchase, Samsung is seemingly planning to change this soon. Official press renders and specifications were quietly revealed by Samsung a few days ago, leaving very little left to uncover for whenever the phones do happen to go on sale.

Galaxy M23 5G quick overview

Although both phones belong to the budget segment, the Galaxy M23 5G is evidently the slightly more affordable variant, as highlighted by the official specs. The phone has a 6.6-inch TFT display with a resolution of 2408 x 1080, and it’s powered by an unspecified octa-core chipset (2.2GHz+1.8GHz) and 4GB of RAM.

The phone will offer 128GB of built-in storage expandable via microSD (up to 1TB) and a 5,000mAh battery. It will ship with Android 12 and One UI 4.1, and customers will get to choose from two color options: Deep Green and Light Blue.

The phone’s camera system includes a 50MP primary shooter (f/1.8), an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth camera.

The Galaxy M33 5G has a similar 6.6-inch TFT FHD+ display with an Infinity-V notch. It, too, is powered by an unspecified octa-core chipset, though frequencies are higher at 2.4GHz+2.0GHz.

Samsung will be selling the Galaxy M33 5G with 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in expandable storage. The phone is powered by a 6,000mAh battery, and of course, it ships with Android 12 and One UI 4.1.

The device appears to feature the same 50MP (f/1.8) primary camera as the M22 but pairs it with a lower-resolution 5MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide shooter. It also has a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor and a 2MP (f/2.2) macro camera.

The Galaxy M33 5G will be available in green, blue, and brown. Though as always, color availability could vary by country.

There’s no official word as to when these new budget M-branded phones will be released, but according to previous reports, the Galaxy M33 could go live in India by the end of the month.
