Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 optimized app list grows, includes Microsoft Teams
If you’ve been following the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 with excitement and curiosity, here’s one more reason to be excited: Your favorite Microsoft apps are all ready to be their best selves on the device, as they’ve been optimized for the layout.
Here’s the scoop on how Teams and Outlook have been prepared for the Galaxy Z Fold 3:
- Microsoft Teams: When unfolded, users can see a presentation in full-screen detail and the faces of their co-workers on the Teams call underneath. Also, users can pull up the Whiteboard and draw what they are explaining on the board with an S Pen.
- Microsoft Outlook: With Microsoft Outlook’s dual-pane mode for Galaxy devices, users can read a full email while previewing others on the side, just like on a desktop.
And in case you want more than Microsoft apps, there’s always Google Docs, or other useful tools like Canva and Acrobat Reader, all of which have been optimized for Samsung’s device’s design.
With all that said, if you’re not interested in Samsung products and really want 100% of your experience, both in hardware and software, to be Microsoft-fueled, you can always check out the Surface Duo for a somewhat similar experience. Not only has the device been going on constant sales (meaning you can grab one for cheaper than ever before if you pay even a smidgen of attention to store listings), but its successor, the Surface Duo 2, is very likely to be coming soon.
