There no secrets left about the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, which is due to be released in August.
After a massive leak by Amazon revealed the design, features and price – a new leak reveals a powerful new processor and hardware powering the flagship smartwatch.
And it seems that the company is going with its own hardware, rather than the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100.
According to Sammobile, the Galaxy Watch 4 will utilize an Exynos W920 chipset, which will massively boost performance.
According to Sammobile, the CPU boasts 1.25x faster processing times compared to the Exynos 911, which was used on the Galaxy Watch 3.

It’s also reported that there will be more than 8x better graphics performance, which will be in charge of powering the One UI that the company confirmed will overlay Wear OS.
Apparently it will also have 1.5GB of RAM, another boost over the Galaxy Watch 3.
So what does this all mean? Well, it highly depends. We’re glad to see plenty of power on-board, which will help drive a great experience. However, we’re not sure how the demands of Wear OS will differ from Tizen, which ran on older Galaxy Watch smartwatches.
But it shows that the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 will be a serious force to be reckoned with.
To recap, Samsung will launch the Galaxy Watch 4 at an event scheduled for 11 August. We’re expecting two versions: a standard Galaxy Watch 4 and a more premium Galaxy Watch Classic. The two devices will run Wear OS and feature a bioimpedence sensor for measuring body fat, as well as VO2 Max, blood oxygen tracking and a heart rate monitor.
