Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is getting the Android 11 update

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) announced with Android 9 Pie in February 2019 is receiving the Android 11 update.

The Android 11 update for the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is currently seeding in a total of 29 Asian, South American, and European countries. However, only the LTE model is receiving the Android 11 upgrade right now, and it’s unclear when exactly Samsung will begin the rollout for the Wi-Fi version.

The firmware rolling in South Korea has version number T515NKSU8CUF6, while the ones seeding in Asian and European countries have versions T515XXU8CUF2 and T515XXU8CUF4, respectively.

The new build for the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) comes with the June 2021 Android security patch and the usual Android 11 goodies, including new UI, one-time permissions, and chat bubbles.

If you haven’t received the update yet, you can check for it manually by heading to your tablet’s Settings > Software update menu.
