Samsung Galaxy Store gets updated to a newer version

Samsung phones and tablets come pre-installed with the Galaxy Store. It is a place where Galaxy smartphone and tablet owners can download exclusive apps and games. Now, the Galaxy Store is getting a new update that bumps the version number to 6.6.09.52. The Galaxy Store was first launched in 2009 and is now available in 125 countries.

Speaking of the new Galaxy Store update improves the stability and functions of the app. This is pretty generic, as most users, including me, weren’t experiencing any issues with the Galaxy Store app (maybe because I don’t use it that much). Similar to most updates, this new Galaxy Store update doesn’t add any new functionalities or features.

The update weighs around 60.37 MB in size. You can download the app update by opening the Galaxy Store app and clicking on Menu » Settings. Here, tap on About Galaxy Store and download the new version of the Galaxy Store. Do note that the update is rolling out gradually, so it may take some time to go live in your region.

Recently, Samsung announced the Best of Galaxy Store Awards 2022 on YouTube. The award was aimed at awarding apps and games in various categories that were most liked and downloaded by users. The Sirius XM Streaming by Sirius XM Radio, Inc. was awarded the Best Music App award, while Catalyst Black by Super Evil Megacorp won the Game of the Year award.
