Samsung Galaxy S9 gets one more Android 10 beta update

Last November Samsung revealed that it will begin rolling out stable Android 10-based One UI 2.0 update for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ this month, but two weeks into January and Samsung is still squashing bugs. Last week Samsung rolled out an Android 10 beta update for the S9 duo, and now it is seeding yet another Android 10 beta for the S9 pair.

The new beta build sports version number G96*XXU7ZTA9 and weighs around 115MB in size. The firmware brings in a new Samsung Camera app and fixes an issue that prevents users from entering a PIN in Samsung Pay security keypad.

There’s also a patch for those not able to use mobile data on MVNO operators.

This update is currently seeding in India but should soon expand to other regions where the One UI 2.0 beta program for the S9 duo was announced.

If you are enrolled in the beta program, you can download the update by heading to the Settings > Software update menu on your S9/S9+.
