Samsung Galaxy M54 might soon follow the A54 to market

The M-branded version of the Galaxy A54 5G might be closing in on its release, and it makes sense to do so now that the Galaxy A54 is official. Samsung appears to be making preparations for the Galaxy M54’s arrival and has launched support pages for the upcoming mid-range device.

These Galaxy M54 support pages are live on the Samsung Colombia portal. The page confirms the phone’s model number, SM-M546B, and that the de Galaxy M54 has 5G connectivity and dual-SIM capabilities. But as usual, when support pages go live ahead of time, they lack additional hardware details and official device renders.

Official specifications for the Galaxy M54 are missing, but leaks suggest that, as usual, the M-branded sibling of the Galaxy A54 will forego certain build quality advantages in favor of better raw hardware.

For example, the Galaxy M54 5G is said to feature a 108MP primary camera rather than a 50MP unit, but, likely, the Galaxy M54 won’t have a Gorilla Glass back panel. And despite the higher camera resolution, it’s unclear if the 108MP sensor will have optical image stabilization (OIS).

Other alleged specs that the Galaxy M54 5G may have include an Exynos 1380 SoC, 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging capabilities.

Samsung will release the Galaxy A54 before the end of March in some markets and in early April in others. And, in theory, the Galaxy M54 variant shouldn’t be far off and could launch in a similar timeframe in select markets.
