The Galaxy M01 will soon become one of Samsung’s most affordable phones, alongside the Galaxy A01. Naturally, it will be pretty affordable – the rumored price for India is INR 9,000 for the base version with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage.
We don’t know if there will be any other versions as this is the one that leaked through the Google Play Console. That info pointed to the same Snapdragon 439 chipset as the A01, but also an extra gig of RAM, meaning the M-series will be slightly better equipped.
Samsung Galaxy M11
The more upscale Samsung Galaxy M11 is also expected in India, starting at INR 11,000 for the same memory configuration. There will also be a 4/64GB option for INR 13,000.
Previously, the M11 appeared on Samsung.com, specifically the UAE sub-site. There it costs AED 490 (slightly less than the expected price in India, but you have to consider the local taxes). For comparison, the Galaxy M21 (4/64GB) is INR 13,200 in India (after a price cut).
The Samsung Galaxy M01 and M11 are expected to launch in India in the first week of June.
