Samsung Galaxy A53 5G inches closer to launch with new certification
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G has been the subject of several leaks. We even got a glimpse at the phone’s design via some leaked renders. It is a part of several 5G-enabled mid-rangers Samsung wants to launch in India throughout 2022. The Galaxy A53 5G is now closer to launch with a new certification.
The Galaxy A53 5G will come with a 15W charger in the box
MySmartPrice happened to stumble upon the Galaxy A53 5G on the 3C certification website. The actual listing doesn’t tell us much about the phone, but hints that it could ship with a 15W charger out of the box. The phone and chargers are labelled SM-A5360 and EP-TA200, respectively. However, the Galaxy A53 5G’s battery could support higher charging wattages, as demonstrated by its predecessors.
Despite the seemingly underpowered charger in the box, we’re pretty excited about what the phone could bring to the table. It isn’t every day that we get to see a Samsung mid-ranger offered in both Snapdragon and Exynos flavours. It is also one of the first devices to run Samsung’s new Exynos 1200 SoC which could be unveiled alongside it.
Other than the chipset upgrade, the Galaxy A53 5G should reuse most of the Galaxy A52 5G’s hardware, such as the 120Hz Super AMOLED screen and 5,000mAh battery. Samsung could, however, replace the 64MP primary camera sensor with a 50MP version, which has been the trend in several mid-range smartphones of late.
