Samsung Galaxy A23 5G passes through FCC, 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging confirmed

The FCC has listed several variants of the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G, some of them dual SIM, the others single. The phone, model name SM-A236, will be a 5G-enabled alternative to the Galaxy A23.

Besides 5G (with various bands, depending on the exact model), the phone also features dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (ac), Bluetooth 5.0, NFC. It also has a microSD card slot on board (it’s not clear if this means a hybrid slot on the dual SIM versions).

Additionally, the phone will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging (same as the 4G phone). The A23 5G will feature the Snapdragon 695 chipset as we’ve seen from Geekbench results.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is expected to launch in Europe and India (where it will be joined by the Galaxy A04s), possibly other regions like North America too.
