Samsung flagships suffering from stuttery slow-motion recording?

Throughout 2021, several complaints from Galaxy flagship owners popped up on the Samsung Community website, and they all detailed similar issues. Whether it was the Galaxy S20/Galaxy S21 or Galaxy Note 20 series, a few users have highlighted some unpleasant slow-motion recording issues that seemingly affect Samsung’s flagships — or at least, a limited number of them.

Although the issue never seemed to be too widespread, it persists, at least according to some users. If you count among them, feel free to leave a comment below and share more details about the Galaxy device you’re using and the difficulties you’re experiencing while recording slow-motion videos.

We tested this camera feature on the Galaxy S21 Ultra running One UI 4.0 and the Galaxy S21+ running One UI 3.1. Slow-motion recording seems to be working as intended on both models and operating systems, and we were unable to reproduce the issue. That’s not to say it doesn’t exist — it’s just that we have yet to encounter it. It’s still unclear if it affects only Exynos/Qualcomm variants of both, but reports seem to be leaning more towards the former chipset.
