Rocket League is free, and Epic Games will even pay you to play it

Now that Rocket League has gone free-to-play and is available through the Epic Game Store on PC, Epic will literally pay you to play it. Yes, you read that right. Anyone who download Rocket League through the Epic Games Store between now and October 23rd will receive a $10 coupon to use on the storefront.

Coupons are valid until November 1, 2020 and only games with a minimum price of $14.99 quality for purchases.

You will receive an Epic Coupon for placing an order for Rocket League until October 23, 2020 at 11AM Eastern Time. All Epic Coupons received from placing an order for Rocket League will expire on November 1st 2020, 2:59 AM Eastern Time.

Qualifying games and add-ons must be a minimum price of $14.99 after any promotions and discounts are applied. Taxes and other fees do not apply toward the minimum purchase requirement.

Back in July, developer Psyonix announced that Rocket League was going free-to-play and anyone who owned the game previously would receive Legacy status, amounting to free in-game DLC. At this time it has also been removed from Steam, though if you bought it on Steam before it wad removed you can still play it.

If you decide to download it on another system than the one you already play on, you will be able to transfer your progress over.
