Remnant: From the Ashes gets Adventure Mode and ‘Leto’s Lab’ dungeon soon

Remnant: From the Ashes is a third-person action game along the lines of Dark Souls and other action role-playing games. However, instead of swords, you’re given a bunch of guns. In many ways, it’s like Destiny. While the game focuses on randomized levels to enhance replayability, there’s more coming on September 12 and later.

Today, publisher Perfect World Entertainment announced two free updates for the game. On September 12, Adventure Mode will bring a new layer of exploration by allowing players to refresh the Ruined Earth, Rhom, and Yaesha regions without having to play through the main campaign. Best of all, your progress and items obtained in Adventure Mode stay with your character, so they can keep rolling in order to obtain all the weapons, armors, Mods, and more.

However, that’s not all. On September 19, Leto’s Lab will drop and take players on a quest through Research Station Alpha, where you will be challenged by light puzzles mixed with intense combat. One of the main issues Remnant: From the Ashes suffers from is its convoluted story, and this mission promises to fix that.
