Realme X7 and X7 Pro are coming to India on February 4

The Realme X7 and X7 Pro introduced last September will make their debut in India on February 4. The launch will be streamed on Realme’s official YouTube channel and social media accounts starting at 12:30PM IST (7AM UTC).

Realme sent us a special media invite for the launch of the X7 series in India. It includes a real MediaTek chip that has text MT6853V on it with designator “TN”, which is associated with the Dimensity 800U. This confirms at least one of the two smartphones will be powered by the Dimensity 800U. Chances are the X7 will come with Dimensity 800U like its Chinese counterpart, making it India’s first Dimensity 800U-powered smartphone.

However, an image of the X7 tweeted by Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth suggests the Indian X7 could be a rebranded V15 5G (also powered by Dimensity 800U) announced in China earlier this month.

If that’s true, you can expect the Realme X7 Indian variant to come with a 6.4″ FullHD+ Super AMOLED screen with a fingerprint reader underneath, 64MP triple camera, 16MP selfie shooter, and a 4,310 mAh battery with 50W charging.

The Chinese X7, on the other hand, features a 32MP selfie camera, has an additional 2MP depth sensor, and packs a 4,300 mAh cell with 65W charging. You can head this way to check out the detailed specs of Realme X7 and V15 5G.

Talking about the X7 Pro, assuming there are no changes, you’ll get a Dimensity 1000+, 6.55″ FullHD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED screen, 64MP quad camera, and a 32MP selfie camera.

The X7 Pro also features an in-display fingerprint reader and has a 4,500 mAh battery under the hood. But the Chinese variant supports 65W charging, whereas the Taiwanese model is capped at 50W. It remains to be seen how fast the Indian X7 Pro will charge. We’ll hopefully know that in the days leading to the official announcement next Thursday.
