Oppo spin-off brand Realme looks set to unveil the Watch S, its second smartwatch, with the big unveil happening on the 2 November.

The Realme Watch S appears to be a variation of the Watch S Pro that Realme teased back at its IFA 2020 presentation in September, and stated would land this year.

The existence of this new model was confirmed by a post on one of the brand’s Twitter pages that, along with its round design, also revealed some of the specs we can expect.

It revealed that the Realme Watch S will come packing a 1.3-inch touchscreen display, heart rate monitor and an SpO2 sensor.

It also confirms that the watch will have 16 sports modes, a 15-day battery life and will come with black, green, blue and orange band options.

There’s were no details on pricing, though we imagine that info will be saved for the live stream reveal. The fact this was tweeted from Realme’s Pakistan Twitter page likely suggests this is one that’s going to launch in that part of the world first as well.

The first Realme Watch launched earlier this year as a $50 budget smartwatch option for Android users only.

It also packed heart rate and SpO2 sensors and offered 14 sports modes with a 7-9 day battery life.

So it looks like the Watch S will make some improvements on Realme’s first watch.

It looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer to hear more about the Watch S Pro, which rocked up at the FCC last month. It’s expected to pack a round design too with 1.39-inch AMOLED display along with SpO2 and heart rate sensors.

All of the key Watch S details will be announced via a Facebook and YouTube livestream.

We didn’t exactly love the first Watch, but it did appreciate that it packed in a lot of features for not a whole lot of money. Here’s hoping Realme has come up with a much better smartwatch this time.
