Realme Smart TV 4K leak reveals some specs and Indian price points

Realme’s May 31 India event is just a few hours away and will definitely feature the announcement of the Realme X7 Max 5G, as well as a couple of new Realme Smart TV 4K models – a 43 and a 50-inch one. That bit was already known from the teaser poster alone. Along with support for Dolby Cinema and a voice assistant of some sorts.

Expanding on that, a new leak offers some additional, even if vague specs. Apparently both TVs will use 4K panels with 178-degree field of view, 1.07 billion colors and built-in Chroma Boost and Picture Engine optimization. Also, as per the source – Dolby Vision HDR. Audio is allegedly handled by a 24W quad stereo speaker setup, with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS HD.

In terms of I/O, the new Realme Smart TV 4K models get three HDMI ports (version unknown), two USB ports, one AV input, one Ethernet port (unknown speed) and a tuner port. At the heart of the devices – an undisclosed quad-core MediaTek chipset. One that, at the very least, offers dual-band Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 5.0. There is Android 10 running on top – no mention of whether it is a full-fat version and what UI and customizations it has.

The 43-inch model is said to have a gross weight of 9.5kgs and a net weight of 6.5 kilograms, with 100W rated power consumption, while the 50-inch weighs 13.1kg/9.2kg, respectively and is rated for 200W. Precise price tags are unavailable, but the source claims the 43-inch will fall in the INR 28,000 to 30,000 bracket and the 50-inch: INR 33,000 to 35,000.
