Razer’s gorgeous Raptor 27 monitor now on sale at Amazon

Razer’s first — and so far, only — gaming monitor is now available to pick up at Amazon. Previously only available through Razer’s own store, the Razer Raptor 27 is now available at Amazon for $700.

For Razer’s first foray into desktop monitors, the Raptor 27 quite a beast. In his review, Windows Central executive editor Daniel Rubino called it “gorgeous,” saying it’s “amazing for daily work for photo and video editing, watching a movie, and going at it hard for gaming.”

The Raptor 27 features a non-glare IPS 2560 x 1440 display with HDR. You’ll get a 144Hz refresh rate, along with both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync support to keep your games running smooth without screen tearing. It also has a 1ms response time, which is where you want to be with a gaming monitor.

Razer has also packed in some handy, thoughtful features with the Raptor 27. The cable management setup is clean, with dedicated slots to hide away each of the flat cables you’ll have running between your PC and monitor. It also tilts at 90 degrees to help you gain access to the ports, which can be incredibly handy.

Of course, with this being Razer, the monitor also sports underglow Chroma lighting that can sync up with the rest of your Razer accessories.

Currently, Amazon is fairly low on stock of the Raptor 27. However, if you’re more comfortable ordering from Amazon than Razer’s online store, it’s nice to have another option.
