Razer unveils new Seiren microphones for casual and professional streaming

Razer announced the Seiren V2 Pro and Seiren V2 X microphones today. The Seiren V2 Pro is a professional mic that looks to compete with the best microphones for streamers. The Seiren V2 X is a mic aimed at casual streaming that follows the popular Seiren X. Both new microphones are available starting today. The Seiren V2 Pro costs $150, while the Seiren V2 X costs $100.

The Seiren V2 Pro has high pass filters and analog gain limiters to help capture desired audio. Razer highlights the following features:

  • Dynamic Microphone, to Enable Rich, Powerful Vocal Capture
  • 20 Hz Frequency Response to Capture Full Range of Audio
  • Analog Gain Limiter to Prevent Voice Distortion
  • Superior Dynamic Range and Precision with 24 Bit Rate

The Seiren V2 X is a condenser microphone with supercardioid pickup patterns. Some of the Seiren V2 X’s main features are:

  • 25mm Condenser Microphone for Natural Vocal Quality
  • Supercardioid Pickup Pattern for Greater Voice Isolation
  • Analog Gain Limiter to Prevent Voice Distortion
  • Superior Dynamic Range and Precision with 24 Bit Rate

Both microphones work with Razer Synapse for customization, such as independently adjusting input and output levels of multiple audio sources. They also each support sound profiles.
