Rainbow Six Siege down amid Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4 server outage

Updated September 9, 2019: Ubisoft has fixed its Rainbow Six Siege server issues, reporting improved connectivity for all.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is facing widespread server issues, with players unable to play the hit tactical shooter on September 9. Ongoing connectivity hiccups prevent players to accessing multiplayer matches across all platforms, with Ubisoft confirming work remains underway on a fix.

“We are currently investigating technical issues which are preventing access to the game,” Ubisoft stated via a recent status alert. “Keep an eye out for updates.”

Current server issues appear to be unplanned, with no scheduled maintenance announced for the title across all three platforms. While the deployment of Operation Ember Rise, the next upcoming Rainbow Six Siege expansion, is expected for the days ahead, the studio is yet to confirm a release date or rollout plans.
