Put simply, this is probably the best Xbox headset deal for Black Friday

Black Friday is in full swing, and we’re hard at work scouting out the best deals for Xbox, Surface, and PC in general. While browsing through Amazon’s deal spam I came across one of my favorite headsets of the past few years, the Corsair HS75 XB, and it’s enjoying a pretty sweet $40 sale right now making it an absolute steal.

Corsair HS75 XB

The Corsair HS75 XB took home our “Best Xbox headset” award for 2021 and for good reason. Dollar for dollar, this is the best wireless headset you can get on the basis of pure value for Xbox in my view, and this Black Friday deal makes it all the sweeter.

$109.99 (was $149.99) at Amazon

The Corsair HS75 XB is a personal favorite of mine for its no-nonsense approach to nailing the basics. There are no super-duper special newfangled Features™️ on this headset: it simply does what it’s supposed to do, offer great sound, with good comms, with a comfortable design, at a high-value price. At $150, I already felt like this headset was well-priced, but this price crash for Black Friday represents a solid deal.

You will get extra kills because of this headset.

This headset is certifiably Xbox. You can use it with PC, but you need the sold-separately Xbox Wireless Adapter (USB) or have one of the few laptops out there that support Xbox Wireless natively. It has no 3.5mm jack, unfortunately, and cannot be used via USB. But if you were hunting for a headset just for your Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, this is a showstopper at $110.

While it’s a tad bass-heavy out of the box for me, it’s one of the few headsets out there with Dolby certification built-in to the device. Simply connecting this up to your console wirelessly gives you access to the Dolby Atmos app, which lets you tweak the EQ profile to your ear’s desire. Overall, the soundscape is cavernous and impressive, elevated further by Dolby Atmos surround. You will get extra kills because of this headset. The leatherette earcups are dreamy to wear across long sessions, and the microphone quality punches above its weight too. Despite the design, these aren’t open-back speakers, however, as some people have asked me in the past.

Thanks to this deal, I’d argue this is probably the best value Xbox headset on the entire market right now, and certainly among the best Xbox headsets of the right now.
