Project xCloud Xbox Streaming Games List

Microsoft soon kicks off its Xbox Project xCloud Preview, granting early access to its game-streaming ambitions. Mobilizing Xbox One titles via a low-latency cloud infrastructure, it’s a full-fledged console experience on mobile. And while the final product is expected to span a broader library of titles, a smaller pool is accessible for free throughout tests. We’ve wrapped up all the Project xCloud games confirmed so far.

Which Xbox games support Project xCloud?

As unveiled in September, Microsoft will kickstart Project xCloud with a preliminary library of four in-house titles. Each title embraces a separate genre with varying moment-to-moment gameplay, delivering a spectrum of remote experiences.

Note: During the Xbox Project xCloud Preview, all listed games are available for free.

If among the lucky few invited to early Project xCloud tests, all four titles will be accessible to stream for free via Microsoft’s cloud gaming network. Leveraging cloud-based Xbox One hardware, all games will be rendered remotely onto your mobile phone. Regardless of your existing Xbox One library, included titles are available to preview testers. Expect new titles to hit the library in the months ahead, as Microsoft nears a formal public release.

Gears 5, Microsoft’s latest in-house Xbox exclusive, is our top Project xCloud pick, showcasing the platform’s capabilities across single-player and multiplayer content. Headlining the fall 2019 lineup, testers will gain access for no additional cost via their mobile devices. Several of the game’s signature features also complement the low-latency nature of the service, such as the reactive “Active Reload.”
