Combining elements of classic dungeon crawlers with modern dating sims, this is sure to be an experience unlike anything you’ve played before. If you’re like me and morbidly curious about what this game even is, you can play it right now thanks to a surprise release on Xbox Game Pass.
The game was originally revealed during a successful 2018 Kickstarter, and many players have been eager to see more of this game in action after its captivating and slightly confusing reveal. During today’s Nintendo Indie World showcase, we were treated to some fresh gameplay as well as a shadow drop for this dungeon-crawling dating sim. What many of us weren’t expecting, however, was a day-one release on Xbox Game Pass.
As of writing this post, Boyfriend Dungeon isn’t currently listed on the Xbox Game Pass app for console or mobile, but a quick search in the Microsoft Store should reveal the surprise. Normally retailing for $19.99, Xbox Game Pass subscribers get the opportunity to immerse themselves into this wild world at no additional cost. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to turn a cutlass into a shirtless ripped dude with flowing locks.
