There’s a closed beta taking place soon, and you can pre-load it already through the Microsoft Store. However, the biggest news from the closed beta announcement was that the game is Xbox One X Enhanced and supports 4K resolution on the system. It’s unclear what the frame rate is at the moment, but we’re going to guess 30 frames per second (FPS) because it’s a third-person action title. Usually, third-person action games run at 30 FPS and not 60 FPS on Xbox One X.
Are you excited about Phantasy Star Online 2 coming to Xbox One? Will you play it or play the closed beta? Let us know. We’re really excited because it’s an absolute phenomenon in the East, and we’re curious to find out what the hype’s about!
