Oppo Reno10 series could arrive on May 24 as more specs leak

Oppo will launch the Reno10 series with a new camera design, as seen in renders earlier this month. The series now appeared in an online video ad, confirming the oval island.

According to the short clip, the launch date will be May 24. The video was meanwhile taken down, but not before the important frame were captured.

At the same time, Digital Chat Station revealed the Oppo Reno10 and Oppo Reno10 Pro will bring portrait cameras with 2x optical zoom and lightweight bodies.

The Oppo Reno10 is said to have a 6.7” screen with 1080p resolution and curved sides, up to 120 Hz refresh rate and 32 MP selfie camera with IMX709 sensor inside the punch hole. The rear will sport a 64 MP main camera with Omnivision OV64B sensor, an 8 MP untrawide unit with Sony IMX355 imager and a 32 MP IMX709 portraits shooter.

The vanilla version will be powered by a Snapdragon 778G chipset with 12 GB RAM. The battery will have 4,600 mAh capacity and support for 80W charging. The phone will weigh 180 grams and measure just 7.58 mm in thickness.

Oppo Reno10 Pro renders

The Oppo Reno10 Pro will have a slightly bigger 6.74” screen with a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels. The refresh rate, overall appearance and front camera will be identical to the non-Pro, with the big differences happening on the back and under the hood.

This phone will have a 50 MP main camera with IMX890 sensor and OIS, while the ultra-wide-angle and portrait will be the exact same as on the vanilla Reno10.

The Reno10 Pro will offer with a Dimensity 8200 chipset, MariSilicon X NPU and 100W SuperVOOC charging for the 4,600 mAh battery. The body will again feature a slim 7.68 mm profile and will weigh 186 grams.
