Oppo Reno Ace 2 stops by AnTuTu ahead of launch

Oppo is expected to introduce its Reno Ace 2 on April 13 and the device was already seen in leaked images, while a TENAA certification page confirmed most of its specs. Now, a prototype unit of the phone with the same PDHM00 model number managed to pass by AnTuTu revealing its Snapdragon 865 chipset and achieving a score of 560,217 points.

The phone managed 180,132 points in the CPU department and 210,371 points on the GPU test. In addition, the scorecard reveals an 89,927 memory score and 79,787 points in the UX portion of the benchmark. These scores are not as impressive as some other Snapdragon 865-powered phones but the phone in question is still a prototype unit so we’ll surely see better performance from the retail version.

According to the previous details, the Oppo Reno Ace 2 will sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a punch hole cutout for the 16MP selfie cam and fingerprint reader underneath. The back will house a circular four-camera array with a 48MP main camera at the helm alongside an 8MP shooter and two 2MP modules.

The device will be offered with 8/12 GB RAM and 128/256GB storage while the software front will be covered by Android 10 with ColorOS 7 on top. The battery is have 4,000 mAh capcity and support for 65W wired fast charging. The Reno 2 is touted to come in black, blue, and purple colors which leaves pricing and availability as the only remaining major question marks.
